ECB's Ordonez says Spanish banks well placed

LAS PALMAS, Spain, March 31 (Reuters) - Spanish banks are well placed to face the current turbulence in financial markets, ECB governing council member Miguel Angel Fernandez Ordonez said on Monday.
Speaking at a conference, Ordonez said the Bank of Spain would publish its latest economic forecasts on Tuesday. (Reporting by Jane Barrett; Editing by Joe Ortiz)
