Pioneer Southwest raises IPO size to 8.25 mln units

WASHINGTON, March 31 (Reuters) - Pioneer Southwest Energy Partners LP on Monday raised the number of shares in its planned initial public offering to 8.25 million common units from 7.5 million common units.

The oil and gas properties acquirer said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it still plans to offer the units in the range of $19 to $21 each.

Pioneer Southwest intends to list its units on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PSE." (Reporting by Karey Wutkowski)
