SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Apr 01 (MARKET WIRE) --
Legendary music and entertainment venue 330 Ritch is reopening its doors on
April 4th after an extensive two-month renovation. Located in the burgeoning
SOMA/China Basin District in San Francisco, the historic venue is home to
Popscene!, an 11-year-old weekly party that has been a launching pad for
worldwide talent such as The Killers, Amy Winehouse, Snow Patrol, Lily Allen,
MIA, Modest Mouse and many other artists.

Behind the revitalization and re-launch of 330 Ritch is City Visions
Entertainment, a group of five San Francisco locals who are bound by a
common vision of bridging the City's diverse cultural groups through
music.City Visions has built a reputation in San Francisco for producing events
with
impressive headlining musical talent including: Lauryn Hill, Mos Def, Common,
Talib Kweli, Mark Ronson and DJ AM.

"Building on the 330 Ritch live music pedigree, we've established a
welcoming atmosphere for San Francisco's young, creative professionals," said
Scott
Murphy, the venue's COO & Entertainment Director. "Our goal is to create a
relaxed environment where people can meet new friends, share ideas and listen
to great music -- an alternative to a dark, uninviting, club atmosphere."

For the redesign of the space, the owners collaborated with San Francisco
interior
designer Lauren Geremia. Together they drew inspiration from the existing
space but also wanted to add something new and fresh. "We took the natural
features of this historic space, the beams, brick and old wood bars, and added
a modern, industrial flare to create an atmosphere that reflects the diverse
styles and attitudes of the city," explained Project Director, Ezra Berman.

On Thursday nights, Popscene! will continue its weekly tradition of breaking
new bands. Additionally, the April 4th grand reopening will kick off City
Vision's new weekly Friday night party showcasing cutting-edge talent.

In addition to great music and cocktails, the venue will offer patrons a
full menu of tapas and comfort food as well as late-night snacks after
2am.330 Ritch will also be available for hosted parties and private events.

SPIN magazine has chosen 330 Ritch as its official San Francisco event
venue.
SPIN magazine will host various special events throughout the year at 330
Ritch which will feature headlining live bands and DJs.

330 Ritch is a proud supporter of OurConservatory, a local non-profit
organization
whose mission is to provide a community library of music instruments for the
use of young people in San Francisco's historic Fillmore Jazz District. Among
other initiatives, the venue plans to ask artists coming through its doors to
donate instruments to OurConservatory.
