Owner confirms pirates board yacht off Somalia

PARIS (Reuters) - Pirates have boarded a French luxury yacht off the coast of Somalia and are holding the 30 crew hostage, most of whom are French, the ship's owner confirmed on Friday.
"The ship is the Ponant ... We have been informed that pirates are on board," said Guillaume Foucault, a spokesman for tour company Compagnie des Iles du Ponant, which is part of the CMA-CGM shipping group.
