WARSAW, April 10 (Reuters) - ING Bank Slaski, a unit of the Dutch ING Groep NV, will pay 11.7 zlotys ($5.32) per share in dividend from 2007 net profit as part of a compromise with shareholders, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Earlier, the bank had said it was not planning to pay a dividend at all, which prompted some of its shareholders, including high-profile emerging markets fund manager Mark Mobius, to protest.

"The management's following proposal is a compromise solution compared to the bank management's initial intentions and takes into account the suggestions and comments of the bank's shareholders," ING Bank Slaski said in a statement.

The bank will pay out 152 million zlotys in total, which is equal to about 25 percent of 2007 net profit. (Reporting by Marynia Kruk, editing by Will Waterman)
