ANNUAL INFORMATION UPDATE (AIU)
FOR GLANBIA plc
IN COMPLIANCE WITH PART 11 OF THE PROSPECTUS (DIRECTIVE 2003/71/EC) REGULATIONS
2005 (S.I. NO. 324 OF 2005)

1. Introduction
Glanbia plc published its Annual Report on 10 April 2008 and is therefore
submitting its AIU to the Irish Stock Exchange ("ISE") as required under Part 11
of the Prospectus (Directive 2003/71/EC) Regulations 2005 (S.I. No. 324 of
2005).
This annual information document has been prepared by Glanbia plc in accordance
with the provisions of Part II of the Prospectus Directive (2003/71/EC)
Regulations 2005 and has been submitted to the Irish Stock Exchange for filing
with the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority (the Financial Regulator)
in accordance with the provisions of the Prospectus Rules issued by the
Financial Regulator.
Glanbia plc is publishing the AIU via an RIS today and making it available in
the Investor Section of its website, www.glanbia.ie. Glanbia plc does not intend
to rely solely on the Financial Regulator to publish the AIU.

(i.e., as prescribed by the rules of the markets on which the securities are
