Re:  Resignation and Appointment of Directors



The Board of Directors of the Wake Alternative Investments SPC wish to announce
the resignation of Christopher Ruark as a director of the Fund with effect 27th
March 2008.



The Directors also wish to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Hill as a
Director of the Fund with effect 27th March 2008.



Mr Hill is a Director of Maples Finance Jersey Limited ("MFJL"). Mr Hill joined
MFJL in May 2005, prior to which he was Head of Operations of Gartmore Fund
Managers International Limited ("GFMIL"). Mr Hill joined GFMIL in 1986 as a
member of the investment administration team. Mr Hill was appointed Fund Manager
to a range of Jersey and Luxembourg domiciled fixed income funds in 1990,
Operations Manager in 1991 and Director of GFMIL in 2000. At MFJL Mr Hill is
responsible for all aspects of fund administration including the provision of
fund fiduciary services.



As at the date of this announcement no director of the Fund has: (i) any
convictions in relation to indictable offences; or (ii) been bankrupt or the
subject of any individual voluntary arrangements, or has had a receiver
appointed to any asset; or (iii) been a director of any company which, whilst he
was a director or within 12 months after he ceased to be a director  with an
executive function, had a receiver appointed or went into compulsory
liquidation, creditors voluntary liquidation, administration or company
voluntary arrangements, or made any composition or arrangements with its
creditors generally or with any class of its creditors; or (iv) been a partner
of any partnership, which while he was a partner or within 12 months after he
ceased to be a partner, went into compulsory liquidation, administration or
partnership voluntary arrangement, or had a receiver appointed to any
partnership asset; or (v) had any public criticism by statutory or regulatory
authorities (including recognized professional bodies); or (vi) been
disqualified by a court from acting as a director or from acting in the
management or conduct of affairs of any company.



A list of all directorships and partnerships held by Mark Hill, both for the
present and for the past five years, are available for inspection during normal
business hours in the relevant location at the registered office of the Company
or at the offices of Grant Thornton, 24-26 City Quay, Dublin 2.
