NEW YORK, NY, Apr 10 (MARKET WIRE) --
U Mining Resources Inc. (PINKSHEETS: UMNG) today announced that
representatives of the Company, including Comitrag S.A. President, Mr. Balla
Keita, will leave for Conakry Guinea Saturday in order to meet early next
week with additional Government officials to sort out specific details of the
highly anticipated BOOT Agreement with that country.

"This milestone project is complex and requires 110% of our attention and
efforts, more so as negotiations near completion," stated Jean Michel de
Montigny. "Mr. Keita will be meeting on Monday with the President of the
National Assembly, as well as other officials, to present additional information
and
provide further clarity on the financial details of the Agreement."

"U Mining is extremely confident in Mr. Keita's ability to achieve our
ultimate goal of being awarded this multiple stage contract. This due, in
large part, to his comprehensive experience and knowledge of Guinea's political
customs and the business protocol expected by the government there."

"I wanted to also state that while management of U Mining is very aware of
recent fluctuations in the price of U Mining's stock, our time and efforts are
best spent focused on the Company's operational proceedings -- which currently
includes securing this highly beneficial contract agreement. We know that
this approach is the absolute best formula for achieving significant long-term
growth and increased market valuation. That said, investors seeking information
on the Company that has already been made public are encouraged to contact our
investor relations firm and/or be added to the investor email list," added
CEO de Montigny.

U Mining has also published new information and photos on its corporate
website,
which can be found by navigating to the new Comitrag - Guinea section. "Our plan
is to utilize this page of our site to provide updates on the Guinea project on
a
consistent and timely basis. Due to my intensive travel schedule and numerous
meetings over the last few weeks, I have been unable to respond to
shareholders' questions posted on the U Mining Open Forum as frequently as I
had hoped for," stated de Montigny. "I would like to invite shareholders to
send new, current questions over the next few days, which I will respond to
in short order."

Interested investors are also encouraged to visit the Company's corporate
website
regularly for updates at www.umining.com.
