Signiant and Virtual Media Partner to Provide Turnkey Digital Media Distribution Service

Industry experts join forces to address customers' digital content
                          distribution needs
BURLINGTON, Mass.--(Business Wire)--
Signiant(R) Inc., the leading developer of digital media
distribution management solutions for the telco, media and
entertainment industries, today announced a strategic partnership with
Virtual Media, a systems integrator and provider of non-linear digital
editing solutions for post-production facilities and broadcast
networks. The partnership, called SigNet, enables customers to
implement a digital media distribution solution in real-time with
their existing network infrastructure.

Together, Signiant and Virtual Media will address the challenges
that companies are facing as they attempt to deliver and coordinate
the movement of digital media to multiple distribution venues, and to
monetize that content. Virtual will host the Signiant-powered
solution, providing customers with a turnkey digital media
distribution solution on-demand.

"Virtual Media is a first-class services organization with a
reputation among leaders in the media and entertainment industry as a
trusted advisor and partner," said Rick Cramer, senior vice president,
global operations, Signiant, Inc. "We're delighted to have formed this
alliance with Virtual to offer our customers an integrated, on-demand
solution to address their digital media needs."

As content size increases with multiple file formats, and
time-to-market pressure intensifies, media and entertainment companies
need to deliver their digital content to locations around the world,
at any time of the day, without incurring the costly outages or delay
that result from sending large files over the public Internet. This
partnership provides a secure, hosted alternative for the management,
acceleration and automation of digital media distribution.

"Media and entertainment companies generally don't have the large
capital expenditures needed to support end-to-end workflows and speedy
digital content distribution," said Scott Greenberg, CEO, Virtual
Media. "By partnering with Signiant, we are able to provide our
customers with a reliable, hosted solution that ensures their content
gets to the right place, at the right time, without the cost and
complexity that comes with managing a proprietary network solution."
