MediaBank's Anne Marie Checcone Speaking at Newspaper Association of America's
NEXPO Conference
Panel to Discuss Importance of Comprehensive Standard for End-to-End
Advertising Workflow
CHICAGO and WASHINGTON, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its continued
commitment to the advertising industry and more efficient practices in the
media buying space, MediaBank, a leading provider of integrated procurement
technology and advanced analytics to the advertising industry, today announced
that Anne Marie Checcone, senior vice president of operations, will be sitting
on the AdsML "In Practice" Showcase at the Newspapers Association of America's
NEXPO 2008 conference. Checcone will provide insight into how MediaBank and
its products align with the goals and mission of The AdsML consortium, and the
industry's broader objectives of harnessing technology to provide for more
efficient and effective workflow.
The AdsML consortium was created with the mission of developing the first
comprehensive, global standard for end-to-end advertising workflow. These
standards focus on the means by which data is exchanged for all types of media
and through all stages of an advertisement's life cycle. The AdsML standards
apply to all advertising sectors and aim to enhance the efficiency of the
advertising process and facilitate integration at systems and data levels. The
AdsML "In Practice" Showcase will provide attendees with practical information
on how the standards can be implemented and focus on real-world examples of
the standards in use.
"The entire MediaBank team is committed to the development of industry
standards and promoting the connectivity and interoperability of technology
being used in all stages of media buying," said Checcone. "Working toward a
system in which all phases of the process are integrated will improve
efficiency in the industry and help us all work better. I am excited to share
our experience and knowledge in this area gained through MediaBank's
development of open, integrated solutions for the industry."
MediaBank recently announced the expansion of MediaBank O|X, a
fully-integrated technology platform that enables media buyers to manage media
billing, media tracking, and advanced analytics across all advertising
channels -- analog, Web-based and digital media -- utilizing a single platform
capable of integrating data and systems from a variety of sources. The company
is committed to developing products that allow for the efficient, simple
management of the entire media buying and analytics process.
"In my experience with Boston Consulting Group, I worked to drive
operational efficiencies and a positive bottom-line impact for companies
across a broad range of industries," said Checcone. "MediaBank is leading the
charge in bringing efficiency to the advertising world through the continued
expansion of our advanced technology platform."
The AdsML "In Practice" Showcase will take place at the NEXPO 2008
conference, Sunday, April 13, from 1:30 - 3:30 EDT in room 145 AB of the
Washington Convention Center.
