                                       RE: Series Announcement






The Board of Directors (the "Directors") of The LongChamp Emerging Markets Fund
Ltd. (the "Fund") wishes to announce that with effect from 1 January 2008 the
following Series (the "Series") of the Fund will be rolled up into Series 1:




Series 16
Series 17



Application has been made for the Series to be removed from the Official List
and from trading on the Main Market of the Exchange.  The Irish Stock Exchange
has agreed that the Series will be delisted with effect from 14 April 2008
