PHOENIX--(Business Wire)--
Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) today announced that its HBNet,
Inc. subsidiary will provide high speed transaction transport services
for Pacific Network Access, Inc. (PNA), a company that is building an
innovative host based customer loyalty program for retail stores.

The PNA program will, in partnership with Infinity Network's
on-line loyalty program, enable participating customers to accumulate
Infinity reward dollars (iN Cash) every time they make a purchase at
participating retail stores nationwide. The iN Cash can then be used
towards the purchase of an array of merchandise on Infinity's website,
as well as towards partial payment of purchases at retail merchants in
PNA's network.

"We launch our loyalty program later this year, and we expect to
process numerous transactions from all over the country. To do that we
require a robust service with built-in reliability and superior
speed," says Linda Bryant, CEO of Pacific Network Access, Inc. "HBNet
gives us the peace of mind that all of our transactions will be
processed quickly, smoothly and securely."

HBNet transaction data is protected with security technology that
exceeds industry standards, preventing unauthorized observation both
inside and outside the HBNet network. This is especially critical to
PNA's second product roll out, an offering to its customers of an
Automated Clearing House (ACH) debit transaction processing program.
This new product will enable consumers to pay for retail purchases
with a magnetic striped card, in addition to redeeming and earning
loyalty dollars at each point of sale purchase.

"The expansive distribution and redemption of iN Cash at brick and
mortar retail merchants through the PNA network in tandem with HBNet's
superior redundancy and security, is a perfect fit to expand Infinity
Network's online loyalty program. We're quite enthusiastic about the
opportunities that these partnerships are affording us," says Eli
Feder, CEO of Infinity Network, LLC.

"Not only does HBNet offer customers a superior combination of
security, reliability, service and know-how, but we are able to
leverage our 'big company' capabilities at a price and performance for
smaller companies," says Connie Festa, HBNet Vice President, Global
Network Services, Hypercom Corporation. "Reliable and secure
transactions are critical to all companies and HBNet has raised the
bar for transaction processing."

Hypercom's HBNet network speeds the authorization and processing
of electronic transactions for retail point-of-sale, financial,
government, health care and other customers in both the dial and IP
POS markets.

HBNet is powered by robust, ultra high-density MegaNAC(R)180
Network Access Controllers (NACs) strategically positioned within the
North American Public Switching Telephone Network (PSTN) and at
processor data centers. It supports all POS terminal protocols at any
modem speed up to V.92 and provides uninterrupted service with no
single point of failure, seamless load balancing, state-of-the-art
Web-based reporting, and simple all-inclusive pricing.
