SCANA Corporation to Web Cast 2008 Annual Meeting April 24

SCANA Corporation (NYSE:SCG) will hold its 2008 Annual Meeting of
Shareholders on Thursday, April 24, beginning at 9 a.m. Eastern
Daylight Time (EDT). The annual meeting will be held at Leaside, 100
East Exchange Place in Columbia, South Carolina. William B. Timmerman,
SCANA's chairman, president and chief executive officer, will preside.
During the meeting, Timmerman will provide an update on the Company's
operations, including financial results for the first quarter of 2008
that will be released to the public prior to the annual meeting.

Shareholders who are unable to attend the annual meeting, as well
as other interested persons, may listen to a live audio Web cast of
the meeting via the Internet by visiting SCANA's Web site at
