The following documents have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will
shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
Viewing Facility:

a) Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2007

b) Circular to shareholders incorporating International Power plc's Notice of
Annual General Meeting to be held on 13 May 2008, including proposals to amend
the Articles of Association of the Company. Details of the proposed amendments
to the Articles are set as set out in the explanatory notes accompanying the
Notice of Annual General Meeting.

c) Draft Articles of Association including proposed amendments.

d) Form of Proxy to be used for voting at the Annual General Meeting

The Annual Report is now available on International Power plc's website (
www.ipplc.com/ipr/investors/reports).

The draft revised Articles of Association will shortly be available for
inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is
