Go211.com to Host Online Auction to Benefit Mountain Bike and BMX Pro Rider
Tara Llanes

BOSTON, April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Go211.com (http://www.go211.com), the
premier action sports social networking and online video share site, announced
today that it is partnering with mountain bike and BMX pro rider Tara Llanes
in hosting an online auction to raise funds towards Tara's ever growing
medical costs. The auction begins April 25th at 5pm EDT with the bidding
ending on May 9th at 5pm EDT.
Tara was seriously injured on September 1st, 2007 while racing at the Jeep
KOM Finals. At the present time she is paralyzed from the waist down. She has
been working intensely at physical therapy and has very high hopes that not
only will she walk again, but ride again as well. Tara raced on the
professional mountain bike circuit for 14 years and has won four National
Championships. She made many friends while competing in both the US and
European World Cup Circuit, and they have rallied behind her during her road
to recovery.
The online auction will feature some of the most sought after items in the
sport today, including:
    -- Eric Carter's 2006 National Championship 4x bike
-- Steve Peat's signed replica Troy Lee Designs helmet
-- Tracy Moseley's UCI leaders jersey
-- Adam Craig's signed XC jersey
    -- And more to come....

"We're very pleased to be partnering with Tara for this very worthy
cause," said Sean M. Aruda, CEO of Go211.com. "The positive attitude and
determination she demonstrated while competing has bode well for her during
her recovery, and we look forward to hosting this auction on Go211."
"I'm very excited to be part of the Go211.com family and reach so many
people through their website," said Tara Llanes. "This auction is simply one
of a kind, and as a fan of each and every one of these riders, these items
being auctioned are a big deal to me."
In addition to the live online auction taking place, Tara will be
attending this year's Sea Otter Classic and will have a Tara Llanes Road to
Recovery booth set up next to the Giant Bicycles booth. She will be selling
her Road to Recovery t-shirts, newly designed hoodies, bracelets, and the Jill
Kintner designed TaraBalm. There will also be a raffle for amazing prizes and
products.
All proceeds from the auction and raffle will go to the Tara Llanes Road
to Recovery Fund (http://www.tarallanesroadtorecovery.com). Please join
Go211.com and Tara at http://www.go211.com/u/tarallanes on April 25th to get
involved in this one of a kind auction where your proceeds will help the
recovery of one of the world's most accomplished mountain bikers.
