Winston & Strawn Adds Banking and Finance Partners in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Winston & Strawn LLP announced
today that prominent banking and finance attorneys Christopher C. Kupec and
Molly McGill have joined its Charlotte, N.C., office as partners. Both were
previously partners at Mayer Brown in Charlotte.

Kupec focuses his practice on lending transactions involving banks, hedge
funds and other financial institutions. Representative transactions include
asset based and leveraged lending transactions. He also has significant
experience in second lien and mezzanine financings. He is listed in Chambers
USA, a prominent U.K. based legal research directory, as having a "first class
reputation in the banking and finance industry."
Kupec earned his juris doctor, with high honors, from the University of
North Carolina School of Law. He was elected to Order of the Coif and a
member of the North Carolina Law Review. Kupec holds a bachelor's degree from
the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Phi Beta Kappa.
McGill focuses her practice on representing banks, hedge funds and other
financial institutions in complex syndicated asset-based and leveraged lending
transactions, including financing for acquisitions, restructurings and
recapitalizations. She also has extensive experience in investment grade,
second lien and mezzanine financings. She was recently named a 2008 BTI
Client All-Star for providing exceptional client service to Fortune 1000
companies.
McGill holds a juris doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a
master's from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service (joint-degree program),
with honors in international business diplomacy. She earned a bachelor's
degree from the University of Colorado, with distinction, Phi Beta Kappa.
