SEPTA Trolley Route 13 to Operate Shuttle Buses Due to Weekend Construction
Project

PHILADELPHIA, April 10 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SEPTA Route 13 trolleys will
operate with shuttle buses on a portion of the line Saturday (April 12)
through 5 a.m. Monday (April 14) from 58th Street & Chester Avenue to the
Yeadon Loop (Chester and Callahan Avenues) due to a necessary track and paving
renewal project

Normal Route 13 trolley service will operate between Center City and 58th
Street & Chester Avenue. Riders traveling from Darby can also use SEPTA Route
11 trolley service into Center City.

The construction project will replace 25-year-old rail, switches, and renew
the crossing at Kingsessing Avenue & the Mt. Moriah Loop (near Cemetery
Avenue) with a new continuous welded rail encased in an insulated rubber boot
for a quieter, safer, smoother ride for trolley service and automobiles.

Customers will not be charged to transfer to/from trolleys and buses at 58th
Street & Chester Avenue.
