Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan

In common with all eligible employees, on 10 April 2008 each of the Executive
Directors of Legal & General Group Plc was awarded 250 free shares under the
Legal & General Group Employee Share Plan at a price of 130.8p per share.

Following this award, the Executive Directors beneficial interests were as
