                     THB Group plc ("THB" or "the Company")

Further to its announcement on 9 April 2008 of a purchase of shares by Mr Vic
Thompson, Group CEO, the Board of THB has been notified of the purchase today by
Mr Thompson, of a further 10,000 THB shares. Mr Thompson purchased these shares
for 66p each. Following this further purchase, Mr Thompson's holding is
increased to 5,420,000, representing 19.46% of the Company's issued share
capital.
