KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(Business Wire)--
American Century Fundamental Equity Fund, A class (AFDAX), is
among a select group of top-performing funds recognized by Lipper for
their consistent risk-adjusted returns. Fundamental Equity received
accolades for its first-place finish in the Large-Cap Core Funds
category for the three-year period at the annual Lipper Fund Awards
ceremony, held yesterday in New York City. Six additional American
Century Investments funds also received awards.

The fund, co-managed by Jerry Sullivan and Rob Brookby, was deemed
to "have excelled in delivering consistently strong risk-adjusted
performance, relative to peers," according to Lipper. The fund is
available solely through financial intermediaries, in various share
classes. Fundamental Equity seeks long-term capital growth, with
income as a secondary objective. It looks for common stocks of
companies that the fund's portfolio managers believe are priced
attractively in relation to their earnings growth potential and
estimated dividend production. Fundamental Equity finished first out
of 689 funds in its category and is one of 94 three-year
classification winners for the period ending 12/31/07. Past
performance is no guarantee of future results.

from Lipper for the following classifications and time periods:
