Bringing together eight leading outpatient medical imaging centers
                        in the Puget Sound Area
MINNEAPOLIS--(Business Wire)--
Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI) and Radiology Consultants of
Washington (RCW) have announced the signing of a definitive merger
agreement that will combine their eight Washington outpatient imaging
centers. The strengths of both organizations will further enhance
their joint mission of bringing the highest quality and convenient
medical imaging care to physicians and patients throughout the Puget
Sound area.

"CDI and RCW were separately considering growth strategies in the
Puget Sound and surrounding areas," commented Bob Baumgartner, Center
for Diagnostic Imaging CEO. "It was therefore natural for us to pursue
working together to bring the community the best we both have to
offer."

Both organizations are focused on high-quality and cost-effective
care, offering convenient locations, flexible appointment times, and
expert, sub-specialized radiologist interpretations. CDI and RCW
together offer a wide array of advanced imaging services, including
MRI, CT, ultrasound, x-ray and nuclear medicine.

"Merging with CDI was an easy decision for us because of their
similar focus on sub-specialized interpretations and the value that
brings to patient care--ensuring the most qualified physician reads a
patient's scan," said Shane Macaulay, M.D., Medical Director, RCW.
"With the addition of CDI's three centers to RCW's five centers, our
patients and referring physicians now have access to additional
advanced imaging services."

RCW and CDI will continue to operate under their respective
brands, but together have eight centers throughout the Puget Sound
area in the communities of Bellevue, Everett, Federal Way, Kirkland,
Lakewood, Mountlake Terrace, Renton and Seattle.
