Gen-Probe Announces Webcast of First Quarter 2008 Earnings Conference Call

(Nasdaq: GPRO) announced today that the Company will release its first quarter
2008 financial results on Monday, April 28, 2008 at approximately 4:00 p.m.
Eastern Time (ET). The announcement will be followed by a conference call at
4:30 p.m. ET. Henry L. Nordhoff, chairman and chief executive officer, and
Herm Rosenman, senior vice president, finance, and chief financial officer,
will host the call.
