Green Plug Exhibits at RetailVision Spring 2008 -- Part of Elite Group of 10 New Product Innovators

Company Showcases Emerging Digital Power Standard as Smart
Alternative to Incompatible, Disposable External Power Supplies
ORLANDO, Fla.--(Business Wire)--
Amid overwhelming response from the media and analyst communities
(www.greenplug.us/news.html), Green Plug - pioneering developer of
digital technology enabling real-time collaboration between electronic
devices and their power sources - today will demonstrate examples of
the industry's first environmentally-friendly DC power hub using its
exclusive green technology.

In the FRESH exhibit area of RetailVision Spring 2008, a section
reserved for 10 innovative new products, Green Plug is demonstrating a
new electronics component chip that serves as the core of its emerging
digital power standard. The chip, called the Green Plug(TM) Universal
Power Protocol (UPP), is aimed at consumer electronics, automotive,
aircraft, and power tool manufacturers, and residential and commercial
builders. During the course of a three-month search, submission,
nomination and selection process, more than 1,000 contacts were
engaged, resulting in the selection of 10 emerging companies.

At RetailVision, Green Plug is calling on retailers to embrace the
digital power standard, which will free manufacturers from the need to
make wasteful, disposable, incompatible external power supplies for
their products. According to a new nationwide survey, conducted by
Synovate for Green Plug, more than 60 percent of American consumers
regard the status quo as "wasteful" or "frustrating." A staggering 379
million discarded and obsolete external power supplies are destined to
end up in U.S. landfills this year alone. Green Plug technology
minimizes solid waste by enabling consumers to keep their chargers for
use with future devices after their current devices have become
obsolete.

"Green Plug is especially relevant to the retail sector's concerns
around global warming and renewable energy," said Fred Brown, partner
at the Sightline Group, which organizes RetailVision with
EverythingChannel. "Green Plug addresses sustainability through
innovative technology, a capability that is high on the agenda of many
manufacturers participating in RetailVision."

"Retailers are in a unique position to provide manufacturers with
guidance on what consumers want," said Green Plug CEO Frank Paniagua,
Jr. "It's clear that consumers want that unsightly tangle of wires,
black bricks and wall warts that supply their CE devices to vanish.
They find power cord chaos to be extraordinarily inconvenient as well
as ugly. It's bad for their pocketbooks and even worse for the planet.
And they are prepared to enthusiastically support retailers and
manufacturers who do the right thing. Making this standard happen is
in everyone's best interest."

Due to an absence of both industry standards and government
oversight, the average U.S. consumer is now burdened by dozens of
device-specific external power supplies that work only with the client
devices for which they were designed and packaged. According to Gus
Pabon, Green Plug's Chief Technical Officer, the time has come for a
reusable, multi-port power supply that can provide a universal power
interface for all electronic products. At RetailVision Spring 2008,
the company will convey the benefit of Pabon's experience from 13
years driving Apple's state-of-the-art power systems for the iMac, the
G5 PowerMac Tower Power Systems, and the iPod product lines.

Green Plug is the first green technology company to apply digital
communication to convert a universal power source to a device's
specific power requirements. Green Plug is the developer of
Greentalk(TM) - a secure, digital protocol for real-time communication
between devices that require power and their power sources. Highly
efficient, stylish DC power hubs enabled with Green Plug's UPP chip
are able to simultaneously power multiple devices, each with its own
specific voltage and power requirements.

Through Earth Day, April 22, the company is sponsoring a unique
