New Scottsdale Online University Teaches Business Success Principles

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Nouveau University (NU)
has received a conditional degree-granting license from the Arizona State
Board for Private Postsecondary Education to offer associate of science and
bachelor of business administration degrees. A conditional license allows NU
to begin marketing programs and offering courses. On February 1, Dr. Jennifer
Scott was appointed president and chief executive officer of the university. 

The university is finalizing all internal operations and support systems to
prepare for the launch of its academic programs, which are expected to begin
in fall 2008. 

NU will offer online associate of science and bachelor of business
administration degrees with emphases in accounting, finance, marketing, real
estate investing and small business management. Courses will be eight weeks
long and will start every month, giving learners the freedom to take classes
anytime and from any place in the world, as long as they have access to a
computer and the Internet.

Since NU is a new university, it is not yet accredited. The university has
notified the regional accrediting body of higher education and anticipates
accreditation sometime in 2010.
