India's Dish TV to consider rights issue

MUMBAI, April 17 (Reuters) - Dish TV India Ltd (DSTV.BO), India's top private direct-to-home satellite operator, said on Thursday its board will meet on April 24 to consider a rights issue of shares.

Ahead of the news, shares in the company closed 4.4 percent up at 55.40 rupees in a firm Mumbai market. (Reporting by Narayanan Somasundaram)
