Chemtura Announces Price Increase on ALKANOX(TM), ANOX(TM) and ULTRANOX(TM) Plastics Additives

MIDDLEBURY, Conn.--(Business Wire)--
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) is raising the price for
ALKANOX(TM) 240, ANOX(TM) 20 and ANOX(TM) PP18 antioxidants of its
Polymer Additives business, primarily as the result of significant and
sustained increases in key raw materials, energy and transportation
and other costs. Effective on all deliveries following May 1, 2008, or
as contracts allow, the prices for these products will be increased by
up to 15%. This price increase will also apply to the ANOX(TM) and
ULTRANOX(TM) Binary Blends and No Dust Blends (NDB) using these
materials.
