Beta Gamma Sigma Recognizes the Achievements of CEO, Janice Bryant Howroyd

Awarded the Medallion for Entrepreneurship and Business Achievement

These ideals serve as the foundation upon which Beta Gamma Sigma is built and
each year, BGS asks its collegiate chapters to nominate top business leaders
who excel in business and personify the Society's core values, to be
recognized with the Medallion for Entrepreneurship and the Business
Achievement Award. This year Janice Bryant Howroyd, CEO of ACT 1 Group will
receive Beta Gamma Sigma's 2008 Medallion for Entrepreneurship and Business
Achievement Award.

Other business leaders being recognized along with Bryant Howroyd this

honored at the induction ceremony and banquet -- taking place on April 17th at
the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel in Greensboro, North Carolina. Beta Gamma Sigma
is the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB
International and the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business.
Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student
anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB
International.
Earlier this year, Bryant Howroyd was honored at the inaugural BET Honors,
an evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements and contributions of
distinguished African American leaders in their fields. CEO Janice Bryant
Howroyd (Entrepreneur) was celebrated for her remarkable accomplishments as
one of the nation's most successful entrepreneurs along with Alicia Keys
(Entertainment), Tyra Banks (Media), Dr. Cornel West
(Inspirational/Education), Richard Parsons (Corporate), and the Honorable
Maxine Waters (Government).
