Microtune Receives 'Best Supplier' Award from Samsung

TV tuner chip technology and market leader Microtune(R), Inc.
(NASDAQ: TUNE) has received the 2007 'Best Supplier' Award from
Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., Ltd. This year's award citation
acknowledges Microtune for its "outstanding achievement in tuners" and
for its contribution to Samsung throughout the year. The
corporate-level award, which recognizes Microtune's technology
excellence and superior service and support, is one of the highest
honors given to suppliers from Samsung.

   Samsung Electro-Mechanics is a developer and manufacturer of key
electronics for global customers and is a supplier to its sister
company, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

   Samsung Electro-Mechanics uses Microtune's high-performance TV
tuner chips, including its three-in-one digital TV tuner
(MicroTuner(TM) MT2131), as radio frequency (RF) electronics in small,
compact modules. Samsung's modules, built upon state-of-the-art
Microtune silicon tuners, are standardized components that can be
deployed across various consumer-electronics product lines and models,
