Richard Fisher will explore America's shift from dominance in industrial to services trade, and explain why the U.S. excels in highly-valued services and identify our strongest services exports. Richard W. Fisher has been president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since 2005. This year, Mr. Fisher serves as a voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee, the Federal Reserve's principal monetary policymaking group. He is former vice chairman of Kissinger McLarty Associates and was deputy U.S. trade representative with the rank of ambassador. He oversaw the implementation of NAFTA, negotiations for the Free Trade Area of the Americas, and various agreements with Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Chile and Singapore.
