Pursuant to AIM rule 17, we hereby make the following notification:-
On the 16 April 2008 HBOS plc disclosed an increase in Ordinary Shares US$0.01,
held by Insight Investment Management (Global) Limited, from 7.35% to 8.09%.
This resulted from the purchase of 776,985 shares on 11 April 2008. They are now
the indirect owner of 8,495,000 shares.
