Annual Shareholders' Meeting to be held at 10:30 am (EST) on May 2, 2008

OAKVILLE, ON, April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Tim Hortons Inc.
(NYSE:THI, TSX: THI) today announced the date of its release of first quarter
2008 results.
    The Company will release its first quarter results on Thursday May 1,
2008. A conference call to discuss the results will begin at 2:30 p.m. (EST).
