Pennsylvania First Lady, Education Secretary to Convene Summit on Civics
Education

Pennsylvania First Lady Judge Marjorie O. Rendell and Education Secretary
Gerald L. Zahorchak will convene a day-long summit on civics education at 9
a.m. on Friday, April 18, at the Governor's Residence in Harrisburg. 

The summit, part of an effort by the Pennsylvania Coalition for Representative
Democracy (PennCORD) to strengthen civics education, will feature
presentations and panel discussions on civics-related curriculum and the roles
of community partners in civics education.
