Governor Rendell Signs House Bill Into Law

HARRISBURG, Pa., April 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Governor Edward G.
Rendell has signed House Bill 1152 into law.

HB 1152 amends the Uniform Commercial Code to incorporate electronic
documentation and transactions into it. Specifically, the UCC is modified to
allow for paper documents to be transferred into an electronic form, as well
as to allow for a party to enter into an "authenticated waiver," which is
simply a "written waiver" in an electronic form.
