American Express Plans Live Audio Webcasts of the Investor Conference Call Following First Quarter Financial Results and the Annual Meeting of Shareholders
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) said today that it plans to
host a live audio Webcast of its investor conference call with Chief
Financial Officer, Daniel T. Henry, on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at
5:00 pm (ET) to discuss first quarter 2008 financial results,
operating performance and other topics that may be raised during the
discussion. The company's financial results are scheduled to be
announced shortly after the market closes.
The company also plans to host its annual meeting of shareholders
on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). The meeting will take
place at the company's headquarter office located in lower Manhattan.
Live audio of the investor conference call and the annual meeting
of shareholders will be accessible to the general public on the
American Express Web site at http://ir.americanexpress.com.
