Vnesheconombank (Russia) and Export Credit Agencies COFACE and SACE Signed a Joint Statement on the Establishment of an Export Credit Financing Scheme for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 International Sales

MOSCOW--(Business Wire)--
Today the State Corporation "Bank for Development and Foreign
Economic Affairs" (Vnesheconombank, Russia), COFACE, a French export
credit agency, and SACE, an Italian export credit agency signed a
Joint statement on the establishment of an export credit financing
scheme for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 international sales.

The trilateral document signed today declares that all parties are
now ready to produce and deliver a comprehensive financial package,
including financing, warranties and insurance to support the SSJ100
international sales. Specifically, this document implements the terms
of the cooperation agreement signed on August 21, 2007 by Mikhail
Pogosyan, Director General of Sukhoi Company, Victor Subbotin,
President of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company, and Vladimir Dmitriev,
Chairman of Vnesheconombank.

The present document determines the basic principles and major
approaches towards delivering the above-mentioned financial services
intended for both Russian and international airlines, and to help gain
greater presence of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft in the global
arena. This priority task can be achieved through a competitive and
attractive customer finance system for SSJ100's international sales,
which leverages on joint efforts of finance institutions of Russia,
France and Italy.

Therefore, before putting the SSJ100 aircraft family into service,
its customers will be offered a solid financial package able to meet
cutthroat competition. The combination of a lucrative customer finance
scheme and international involvement in the Sukhoi Superjet 100
Project naturally facilitates SCAC's entrance to the international
market of regional aircraft and grants growing recognition among
international customers.

Mikhail Pogosyan, Director General of Sukhoi Company, stated at
the official signing ceremony, "One of the key things that can make an
aircraft attractive for air carriers is a smart and well-thought
customer finance. Today's agreements ensue from a solid industrial
cooperation scenario - a scenario unique to the Russian aircraft
production practices. Our ability to offer global customers a mature
finance scheme will win their undivided loyalty and greater
recognition, which is sure to help us benefit from market potential".
