WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., April 17, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc.
(OTCBB:HSPO), a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of
nutritional supplements and drug actives in a patented edible film strip
delivery system, announced today the distribution and sale of its Enlyten(r)
SportStrips(tm) (http://enlytenstrips.com) in Japan through a distribution
arrangement with Suzusho Ltd. and one of its affiliates, Yuco, Inc., that
specializes in health and sports-related product sales.

Yuco opened with a limited launch of Enlyten SportStrips Japan
(http://www.enlyten.jp) on March 3, 2008, using its extensive contacts in the
sports market in Japan, including Japan's first professional international rugby
referee, Mr. Taizo Hirabayashi, the Japanese national rugby team, cooperative
rugby teams, professional basketball teams, badminton players, cycle road race
teams, triathletes, and track and field athletes including Olympic hopefuls.
Yuco intends to significantly increase distribution in Japan over the coming
months to include other distribution sources. Also being negotiated are deals to
sell Enlyten SportStrips to Japanese soccer teams, futsal teams, baseball teams,
hot yoga facilities, fitness clubs and sport stores.

"Yuco is deliberately choosing markets to develop the Enlyten brand and is very
optimistic about the acceptance of the SportStrip product in Japan and the
growth of that market in 2008 and beyond," stated Shigeru Motoda, Director of
Yuco.

To date, Yuco has ordered $50,000 of SportStrips which have been selling well
and intends to add additional edible film products in Japan this summer,
including Enlyten's PediaStrips.

"'This is it' was my first impression when Enlyten SportStrips were introduced
to me. Though acknowledgement and importance of electrolyte products is not yet
well understood among most Japanese, I feel certain Enlyten SportStrips will be
a great hit in Japan. We are taking the same strategy as HealthSport did in the
U.S., which is to begin the introduction of Enlyten SportStrips to elite
athletes at first and then moving to the broader market. After some limited
distribution to elite athletes in Japan, we are now very excited to receive
inquiries from many kinds of sports teams, as well as major sports
publications," said Mr. Motoda.
