"As the association for the specialty health industry, we felt it was
important to recognize a company that has shown tremendous innovation and
quality in the programs that they use to educate providers and consumers on
healthcare," said Julian Roberts, executive director of NASHO. Roberts added,
"Educating both groups on procedures, managing benefits or navigating the
system is key to keeping the specialty health system running smoothly and
efficiently."

Educational activities will be reviewed and the selection committee will be
looking for innovations of software, web-based activities, or use of devices
or other program to provide interactive education to either consumers or
providers or both groups - if applicable. Any specialty health organization
that is defined as a payer, health plan or network that facilitates and
manages care for a defined health care spectrum is eligible to apply. Those
organizations include behavioral health, chiropractic, complementary care,
dental, pharmacy benefit management, physical therapy, radiology, vision and
other ancillary services.

Both members and non-members of NASHO are eligible to apply for the award.
Applications can be found at www.nasho.org/IndustryInnovation. Deadline to
submit is June 16, 2008. The winner of the award will be honored at The NASHO
6th Annual Leadership Summit October 21-22, 2008 at the Wynn Hotel in Las
Vegas, NV.
