                         EDINBURGH UK TRACKER TRUST PLC


On 17 April 2008, Edinburgh UK Tracker Trust plc bought back 50,000 ordinary
shares for cancellation at a price of 260.75 pence per share.  Following the buy
back, there are 108,449,645 ordinary shares in issue. The share buy-back will be
financed out of the capital reserve.
