Hercules Announces Results of Annual Shareholders Meeting

WILMINGTON, Del.--(Business Wire)--
Hercules Incorporated (NYSE:HPC) today held its annual
shareholders meeting at its corporate headquarters in Wilmington,
Delaware.

Based on preliminary voting results, four incumbent directors,
Allan H. Cohen, Burton M. Joyce, Jeffrey M. Lipton and John K. Wulff,
were re-elected for a new one-year term. Shareholders also approved
the provisions of the Amended and Restated Annual Management Incentive
Compensation Plan.

In addition, shareholders approved the appointment of BDO Seidman,
LLP, as independent registered public accountants for 2008.
