Boenning & Scattergood Selects William Malarkey to Lead Investment Banking Effort in Industrial Services Sector

WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.--(Business Wire)--
Boenning & Scattergood, Inc., an independent investment bank and
securities firm based in suburban Philadelphia, has announced the
addition of William Malarkey as Managing Director, Investment Banking.
Mr. Malarkey will focus on banking in the industrial services space
with a concentration on water and water related transactions. He
brings with him more than 16 years of experience in international
utilities and infrastructure markets, focused on the areas of strategy
development, mergers & acquisitions, privatization, corporate and
project finance.
Previously, Mr. Malarkey headed business development efforts for
an affiliate of Wexford Capital LLC, pursuing investment opportunities
in the water and environmental sector. He also served as Vice
President, Business Development at American Water, responsible for all
M&A activities and alliances/joint ventures, as well as for managing
major client and partner relationships for North America's largest
private water services provider. Prior to that, he held senior
M&A/corporate development roles with the German utility groups RWE and
E.ON, and has also worked as a management consultant and attorney in
the utilities and infrastructure sectors.

Georgetown University, and holds an LL.M. degree from the University
of Heidelberg in Germany.
