Aon Corporation Names Greg Besio as Chief Administrative Officer

CHICAGO, April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC),
the leading global risk advisor and insurance broker, today announced that
Gregory J. Besio, currently serving as Executive Vice President, Global
Strategy, has taken on the additional role of Chief Administrative Officer. In
this role, he takes responsibility for managing governance, human resources,
and mergers and acquisitions, in addition to corporate strategy.

    Besio joined Aon in 2007 as Senior Vice President, Global Strategy.
Previously, he worked for Motorola where from 2003 to 2007 he held a series of
positions of increasing responsibility, including leading corporate strategy.
Most recently, he was Corporate Vice President, Mobile Devices Software, where
he led a 4,500 person global development group that launched a new software
platform for cellular phones.
    Besio is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre
Dame, and earned a doctoral degree in the same discipline from Princeton
University. He also holds a masters degree in business administration from the
University of Chicago.
