WorldPerks(R) members who book a ride online with SuperShuttle or
ExecuCar earn WorldPerks(R) miles
EAGAN, Minn.--(Business Wire)--
Northwest Airlines (NYSE: NWA) announced today it is partnering
with SuperShuttle to reward WorldPerks members with miles if they book
a shared ride on SuperShuttle to and from their home, office or hotel
and any one of the 27 airports in 22 cities served by SuperShuttle in
the U.S.
SuperShuttle will offer WorldPerks miles for customers booking
airport rides online at www.supershuttle.com. WorldPerks members will
earn 50 miles in each direction for SuperShuttle or 150 miles each
direction for ExecuCar rides booked online at www.ExecuCar.com.
ExecuCar is a Luxury Sedan service owned and operated by SuperShuttle
and is available in 11 cities across the country.
"SuperShuttle is the only truly national airport shared-ride
service in the country and we are pleased to be in partnership with
Northwest Airlines who serves so many customers," said Ken Testani,
senior vice-president of marketing and sales for SuperShuttle
International. "We believe that offering WorldPerks miles is not only
an additional incentive to book SuperShuttle reservations online, but
also a reward for customers who know that sharing a SuperShuttle ride
to and from the airport saves on gas, meaning fewer cars on the road
and ultimately fewer greenhouse gas emissions."
SuperShuttle International is based in Phoenix, Ariz. and carries
more than eight million passengers a year. ExecuCar is a luxury sedan
service wholly-owned subsidiary of SuperShuttle providing service
24-hours a day, seven days a week. For more information, log on to
