LOS ANGELES, CA and CAMARILLO, CA, Apr 17 (MARKET
WIRE) --
Dougherty Laser Vision -- one of Southern California's leading centers for
vision correction research and treatment -- is recruiting patients with
cataracts
to participate in a clinical study of the latest intra-ocular (IOL) lens
technology.
Patients who meet the eligibility criteria and participate in the study will
receive free cataract surgery. They will also receive the IOL at reduced or
no cost, depending on their medical insurance status. They may also be
eligible for compensation. All patients who contact Dougherty Laser Vision can
receive free cataract screening to determine their eligibility for the study.
Patients interested in learning more about the clinical study should contact
Dougherty Laser Vision at (888) 895-2745.
A cataract is a cloudy or opaque area in the eye's lens that usually
develops
gradually with advancing age. Environmental factors, injuries, metabolic
diseases

formation.
