DENVER, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Spring has sprung and Denver Botanic
Gardens' Web site is in full bloom. The Gardens selected local Interactive
Agency, Indigio, to lead a major site redesign, which was built in less than
two months and launched this week. As Indigio prepares to celebrate their
10-year anniversary, they are proud to give back to the community by donating
all time for this project in the spirit of goodwill.
The Gardens launched their first major rebranding effort in 30 years,
which presented a need for their Web site to mirror this new branding. The
new site complements this rebrand and offers a cleaner and more contemporary
visual of the Gardens. Indigio created this new site by leveraging a Drupal
content management system, enabling the Gardens to easily update. This
transformation extends a major benefit to the Gardens as past system
architecture made it difficult to make changes.
Indigio and the Gardens worked together with a goal of creating an
engaging user experience for varying demographics and users. The home page is
intentionally structured to focus on the items that are most frequently
visited and the content was written in a friendly voice that encourages
visitors to engage in the Gardens.
"Working with the Gardens has been nothing short of inspiring. It has
been a privilege to be associated with the enthusiastic, appreciative and
talented individuals that have been a part of the site redesign," comments
Indigio Creative Director, Sara Pacheco. Pacheco adds, "At the beginning of
this process we set out to capture the true spirit of the Gardens through
their online presence and I am proud to say that we accomplished that."
Brian Vogt, CEO at Denver Botanic Gardens, says, "The four core values of
the new branding platform at Denver Botanic Gardens -- transformation,
relevance, diversity and sustainability -- spell out the Gardens' intentions
in the years ahead and are beautifully represented in the design of our new
Web site. With the significant support and talent of our friends and strategic
partners at Indigio, we set out to ensure Denver Botanic Gardens will
flourish. Our new Web site reflects the importance of our partnership with
Indigio and features design and development that is best-in-class."
