Make Mom the Star of a Free March of Dimes E-Card

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., April 17 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- This Mother's Day give
Mom the coolest e-card on the Web - available free and exclusively from the
March of Dimes.

The e-card, which can be found at http://www.MomYouRock.com, can be
personalized by uploading Mom's photo - or maybe a photo of yourself or her
favorite pet - and adding a thoughtful or funny message.

The card portrays Mom in her rightful positions -- star of the show. She is
the star of a rock band, playing all the instruments as the crowd chants:
"Mom, You Rock!"

Kids of any age, dads, grandchildren or anyone else can send the e-card,
designed by MushyGushy, to the most important women in their lives. The
e-cards are available now for Mother's Day, but they can be sent any time of
year, for Mom's birthday, to celebrate an achievement, or to say thanks for
just being mom. But don't stop with Mom, let your - and her - siblings in on
the fun by forwarding them the cards, too.

The cards are free, but both the sender and the recipient can choose to make a
donation to help support the March of Dimes lifesaving research and
educational programs in communities nationwide.

"March of Dimes champions the needs of all babies - those born healthy as well
as those who need help to survive and thrive. We want the same thing all moms
do - a day when every baby is born healthy," said Patricia Goldman, vice
president and chief marketing officer for the March of Dimes. "Just as in her
daily routine Mom juggles many different roles - doctor, chef, chauffeur,
coach and more - in our e-card, Mom is the star."

The e-cards are just one of several items available from the March of Dimes
that can be sent as gifts for Mother's Day. "Stork Tunes," a new compilation
CD celebrating motherhood, birth and babies will be released in May. The CD
features Norah Jones, Billy Joel, Celine Dion, the Dixie Chicks and other top
artists. The "Stork Tunes" CD can be purchased online by visiting
http://www.storktunes.com. All net profits, equaling a minimum of $5.00 per
CD, will support the March of Dimes research and other mission related
programs to prevent birth defects, premature birth and other leading causes of
infant death and disability.

ProFlowers will contribute $10 to the March of Dimes for purchases made
through http://www.proflowers.com/marchofdimes, and Shutterfly is offering a
free 16x20 print to those who purchase an "Every Baby Has a Story" tile from
the March of Dimes at http://www.everybabyhasastory.org.
