K. Hovnanian Homes Opens First Home Design Gallery in Ohio

CANTON, Ohio, April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Those who buy K. Hovnanian Homes
will personalize them by working at Northeast Ohio's only Home Design Gallery,
the company announced today. The 8,000-square-foot Gallery opens April 19
after previews for the media, government officials, industry leaders and
selected customers.

Design Gallery, K. Hovnanian homebuyers will be able to select the items that

The Home Design Gallery, located at the company's Canton headquarters,
offers displays of everything from kitchen countertops and cabinets to
bathroom fixtures and faucets. Floors, lighting, fireplaces and exterior
choices are on display. Customers can see many of the items available to them
as they make the home their home.
Modeled after highly successful Galleries in other states where K.
Hovnanian builds, the Home Design Gallery moves the process from New Home
Galleries to a special facility staffed by trained design consultants who can
help homebuyers with the myriad choices. While architectural options, such as
extra rooms, basement styles and so forth are selected in the model center,
the rest of the options and upgrades are selected with guidance from the
design consultant in a relaxed atmosphere where many choices can be seen and
touched. Visitors can see full-scale kitchen and bath vignettes and other
displays.
"People tell us this is their favorite part of the home-buying experience,

items to make your home yours. You actually get to see and feel what

The new Home Design Gallery will initially serve K. Hovnanian New Home
Galleries in Ashland, Akron/Medina, Youngstown and Stone Creek, all in Ohio,
as well as the Pittsburgh office. The elegant facility is open to the public
this weekend, but after its grand opening, it is available only to K.
Hovnanian customers by appointment.
Sherry and Randy Altman were among the few customers who were allowed to
use the Gallery during its trial state. They described the experience as
amazing.
