WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
3K Computers today announced the approval of their proposal to the
General Services Administration (www.gsa.gov) to provide 3K branded
Built-to-Order desktops, notebooks, workstations, servers, and storage
appliances on a GSA Schedule 70 Contract. The first vendor to receive
a Letter of Supply and Price Catalog from 3K is Boca Raton, FL based
Florida Micro, LLC, and will be adding the 3K product line to their
GSA Contract # GS-35F-0890N. The addition of 3K to Florida Micro's GSA
Contract is the first step in providing government customers with the
ability to conveniently purchase and deploy 3K IT solutions.

Since 3K does not sell direct to end users, the inclusion of 3K
computers on the GSA schedule is enabled by an agreement with Florida
Micro, LLC, a leading government IT solutions provider headquartered
in Boca Raton, FL. Florida Micro represents a select group of top tier
software and hardware manufacturers including Apple, Hewlett Packard,
Microsoft, Sony, and Symantec. Under the terms of this agreement, the
GSA has awarded 3K's products onto the Florida Micro GSA Schedule
effective immediately.

"3K computers have been in high demand on the NASA SEWP IV
Contract. The addition of 3K to our GSA offering will significantly
increase our GSA sales since many government buyers have been
requesting 3K computers, but they are limited to purchasing product
from GSA Schedules. We are very excited to be working with 3K on our
GSA Contract. The best part is that they are Made in America and their
service and support facilities are also U.S. based," said John East,
Vice President, Florida Micro, which serves as a direct marketer of
best-of-breed hardware and software vendors. "We are pleased to add
3K's computer systems to our GSA schedule to address the growing
demand for these extremely cost-effective, scalable and interoperable
solutions."

   "3K provides a spill-resistant, shock-resistant, and
drop-resistant semi-rugged notebook solution that costs a fraction of
the price of many Panasonic Toughbook configurations that we currently
offer our government clients," said John East, Vice President, Florida
Micro. "With demand increasing for another quality Built-to-Order OEM
computer manufacturer other than Dell, the new GSA contract makes it
easier for our customers to buy and deploy the 3K solutions that they
have been requesting. Florida Micro's proven track record in serving
enterprise government clients and their ability to provide superior
service to our government customer base makes them an ideal partner
for 3K," said Dan Jacobs, CEO, 3K Computers.
