Merrion Pharmaceuticals plc, ("Merrion") (IEX : MERR)  an international
specialty pharmaceutical company, today announced, that Mr Pat Wall has resigned
as a director of the Company, due to other work commitments.  Mr Wall served as
a director of Merrion, from the Company's founding through its successful IPO,
on the IEX market of the Irish Stock Exchange in December 2007.  Dr Michael
McKenna, the Chairman of the Merrion Board, said to-day, "We appreciate Pat's
guidance and his unwavering support of this developing company over the past
four years.  His wisdom and expertise was invaluable in setting a firm
foundation for this Company."



Merrion Pharmaceuticals plc listed on the IEX, Dublin, on 18th December 2007.
