FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SANDVINE AND MITSUBISHI ENTER RESELLER AGREEMENT AND WIN CUSTOMER

Waterloo, Canada; April 17, 2008 - Sandvine, (TSX:SVC; AIM:SAND) a leading
provider of intelligent broadband network solutions for DSL, cable, FTTx, fixed
wireless and mobile operators, today announced a reseller agreement with
Mitsubishi Corporation and the partnership's first success. Mitsubishi is
reselling Sandvine's 10-Gigabit Ethernet Policy Traffic Switch (PTS) platform
and policy management solutions to DSL providers in the Japanese market.

Japan has the third largest number of broadband subscribers in the world, with
79% of Japanese households having access to very high-speed Internet connections
offering speeds of up to 100 Mbps, according to Point Topic. This capacity is
enabling subscribers to use their high-speed Internet access for multimedia
applications including music and movie downloads, gaming and VoIP (voice over
IP). Mitsubishi's first Sandvine customer will use Sandvine's solutions to
ensure that subscribers receive the quality of experience that they expect for
all of their broadband multimedia applications.

"Subscribers in Japan are some of the most sophisticated Internet users in the
world; they truly embrace the Internet for work and entertainment," said Tom
Donnelly, Sandvine EVP, Marketing and Sales. "Mitsubishi is offering Sandvine's
solutions to Japanese service providers and enabling reliable and enhanced
delivery of all multimedia applications."

"Operators are realizing that increased capacity encourages more music and video
downloads which competes with the delivery of time-sensitive applications and
services like VoIP and gaming. Sandvine's Intelligent Broadband Network
Solutions allow operators to ensure reliable and consistent quality of
experience for all applications," said Masatoshi Oshima, General Manager,
Mitsubishi Corporation. "We are happy to partner with Sandvine to bring
solutions to the Japanese market that enhance the Internet experience for
broadband subscribers."

Sandvine's Intelligent Broadband Network Solutions offer fixed and wireless
operators traffic identification and policy management solutions with the
breadth, capacity and scale to enhance personalized subscriber service delivery.
Sandvine's solutions reduce congestion and operational costs in service provider
networks, monetize traffic and increase subscriber satisfaction.
