Credit Suisse relocates global FIG head to Hong Kong

HONG KONG, May 20 (Reuters) -Credit Suisse (CSGN.VX) will relocate the head of its Global Financial Institutions Group, Vikram Gandhi, to Hong Kong from New York, according to a memo obtained by Reuters on Tuesday, as part of the firm's push into the fast growing Asia Pacific region.

Gandhi will continue to oversee the business in the Americas and maintain client relationships, and will spend considerably more time in Asia and Europe, the memo said. (Reporting by Michael Flaherty, Editing by Ken Wills)
